Ivy Lane was founded by Rob Koehn, who serves as the firm's Managing Member and is responsible for all investment, portfolio construction and risk management decisions. 

Prior to founding Ivy Lane, he was Managing Director and a member of the General Partner of two private equity funds: Trivest Partners, L.P. and Redan Capital Management, L.P.  At both firms, Mr. Koehn was responsible for the origination, negotiation, structuring, oversight and realization of portfolio investments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Koehn was an Associate in the investment banking department of First Union Capital Markets.  

Mr. Koehn earned an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  While in college, he was a four-year member of the varsity golf team.  Mr. Koehn has been a speaker at the Wharton Private Equity Conference and Kellogg Private Equity Conference, and has been a volunteer coach with The First Tee, a program focused on building character and values in children through the game of golf.  He is a member of the Princeton Alumni Schools Committee and a lifetime member of the Princeton Varsity Club.

Mr. Koehn resides in Winter Park, Florida with his wife Laura and son Christian.
