Ivy Lane Capital Management, LLC ("Ivy Lane") is a value-oriented manager of private investment partnerships on behalf of an extraordinary group of investors.

We seek to maximize long-term investment performance by concentrating our portfolio in a limited number of publicly-traded companies that we believe exhibit unique potential for long-term capital appreciation. We prefer businesses that generate recurring revenue, are gaining market share and led by well-aligned management.

High-confidence ideas with exceptional risk/reward characteristics tend to be rare; when we encounter them, we want to maximize our exposure within the bounds of prudence and logic. Contrary to conventional wisdom, we believe that returns have the potential to be higher and risk the potential to be lower in a concentrated portfolio of exceptional businesses than in a highly-diverse portfolio of lower-quality businesses.

In keeping with Ivy Lane’s focus on high-quality companies, we often invest in "special situations" including potential spin-offs, recapitalizations, acquisition targets and hidden asset realization events.  

Ivy Lane’s investments are driven by primary, independent research and idea generation with a private equity mindset, whereby strong emphasis is placed on capital structure, asset value, management incentives and expected free cash flow generation.
